IMPORTANT UPDATE | THURSDAY TRAINEE (2011 YOB)

The Spring term approaches and we're nearly through the dark nights of Hillend for another season. We hope all our skiers have enjoyed the term, it's wonderful to see the progress in each and every one of them. 

As we move into our final term of the session, we just wanted to give you advance notice of what happens after the summer. 

Membership with LSR takes you all the way through until mid-August 2023, with a number of opportunities to attend summer camps, sign up for racing and more ad hoc training all still available. 

We have a waiting list of over 120 children who are all keen to start training with the club and as such we would really appreciate any advance warning you can give us at all over intentions NOT to return for the 2023/24 season.

As a Thursday early night trainee currently in the 2011 YOB category, your child will move to the U14/16 category and therefore to Thursday late sessions (7.30pm to 9pm) from end of August 2023. I am afraid there is no option to stay in the early session. 
 

All trainees for the 2023/24 season must commit to the 1st term (August to December) and then (with notice given before the 1st December) have the option to remove themselves from training in 2024.

PLEASE DO GET IN TOUCH AS SOON AS YOU CAN IF YOU ARE NOT LOOKING TO RETURN FROM AUGUST 2023 ONWARDS AND ALLOW US TO OFFER PLACES TO OTHER CHILDREN. 

We do expect trainees to attend each week, unless they are out for injury and going forward attendance will be recorded in 2023/24 season. As a reminder no refund on training is available for injury, illness or cancellation throughout the term.
